The date of the funeral of former Christie’s South Kensington managing director Paul Barthaud has been announced.

Brian Morgan was a leading Oriental art dealer, a president of the British Antiques Dealers’ Association and set up the Friends of the BADA Trust, a charitable organisation.

Born in Vienna in 1932, Peter was forced to flee from Hitler’s invading Anschluss of Austria. He spent most of the war years in hiding in France, eventually escaping to Switzerland with the help of the French Resistance.
