Society of London Art Dealers
The Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD), founded in 1932, is a trade association in the UK for dealers in fine art. Its members specialise in different sectors ranging from Old Master paintings and sculpture through to Contemporary art.

SLAD appointments
19 July 2001ANGELA Nevill has been elected chairman of the Society of London Art Dealers and Christopher Battiscombe will take over as general secretary at the beginning of September from Neil Smith, who retires at the end of July.
