Truro Auction Centre

Founded in 1990 by auctioneer and valuer Martyn Rowe, the Truro Auction Centre has been based at Triplet Business Park, between Truro and Redruth in Cornwall, since 2001. 

Alongside weekly general sales, they hold antiques and pictures auctions, and collectors’ sales on alternate months in its two main salerooms.

Bust of Baron Vivian in Cornwall

This large 19th century cast-iron bust of a gentleman is believed to be Richard Hussey Vivian (1775-1842), the 1st Baron Vivian, famed for his distinguished military career which included leading Lord Uxbridge’s cavalry charge at Waterloo.
