This 1980s paint can offered by London firm Roomscape is based on the Frozen Moments series of sculptures by Australian pop artist Geoffrey Rose.
Rose, who created the series while living in poverty in London, said he had the idea for the series when he came home to find a milk carton overturned and the milk spilling out of it frozen into an icicle.
Offered for £280, this vintage take-off on the theme is a product of its time from the choice of colours down to the use of the term New Wave on the tin’s wrapper.
