A Marvel 1971 cover of The Amazing Spider-Man #100 by artists John Romita Sr and Frank Giacoia estimated at $400,000 at Heritage Auctions’ February 22 sale.

Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta’s Thor #154 cover by Marvel (1968) carries an estimate of $50,000.

Captain America Comics #1 (1941) is the first appearance of Captain America and Bucky. Heritage said it is ranked among the top 10 most valuable comics because the cover features Hitler. It carries an estimate of $50,000.

Batman #1 DC Comics (1940) is estimated at $250,000 because good copies of this issue have not been available for sale in recent years.

All-American Comics #16 for DC Comics (1940) records the first appearance of Green Lantern. It is estimated at $125,000.

Heritage is also consigning for its first European Comics Auction on April 7. The auction will take place at Heritage’s European office in the Utrecht region of the Netherlands. A highlight of this auction is expected to be an artwork by Hergé of Tintin’s The Red Sea Sharks (1957).
