The Transatlantic Book Fair, which will run from 2pm mid-Atlantic time on July 22 until July 27 at 8pm mid-Atlantic time, is a collaboration between the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association (ABA) and The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA).

More than 150 rare book dealers from 15 countries present over 5000 books, maps, manuscripts, photographs, and historical artefacts during the event, which will be the first to unite North American and European dealers on a single digital fair platform dedicated to books.

“The online fair model has worked very well over the past year and particularly well during traditional quiet periods such as summer when many collectors have more time to peruse books they find personally interesting,” said Pom Harrington, president of the ABA.

“We see the transatlantic fair having long-term appeal and it’s something we hope to make a summer tradition.”

UK participants include Adrian Harrington Rare Books, Daniel Crouch Rare Books, Robert Frew, Maggs Bros and Russell Rare Books.
