The newly opened large shop in the market town of Longtown, near Carlisle, is owned by Andrew Scott and he was recently joined by Steven Swan of locally based Black Swan Vintage Interiors.
The two men have been friends for years and Swan said: “Having been appointment-only based this was an opportunity to offer flexible times for customers to view pieces they may have seen online.” He added: “The opening weekend in March was fantastic. I was very much looking forward to being within such a popular shop and I wasn’t disappointed. The footfall was excellent.”
Scott said: “We both have similar tastes in what we buy and sell, so what else could I ask for? Nice to see someone with the same passion as myself. May our success be a continuous one.”
