A flavour of what’s on offer at So Last Century’s vintage market at AMP Studios, near Queens Road Peckham station, where the next is on Sunday, November 5.
The new event will be something a bit different. So Last Century Interiors Show will run on March 2 at the Heritage and Arts Centre in Bow, east London.
Old said: “We have always provided a mixed offering, from furniture to fashion, so I thought spring would be a good time to try a more specialised show.”
He added: “One of my goals this year has been to have minimal unsold pitches at my events so I’ve started opening bookings earlier than before. This suits my dealers as quite a few who trade for a living like to plan their calendars well in advance.
“As well as a core of long-standing people who book most of my fairs and markets it’s reassuring to see lots of traders trying the events for the first time. Bookings have been pretty healthy all year even with plenty of other events to choose from in London.”
