As first revealed in ATG No 2485, Koopman will open at 11-12 Dover Street this month.
The silver and works of art dealer’s new 3200 sq ft showroom is over two floors of the Georgian building.
Lewis Smith, director of Koopman, said: “We have been considering a move for sometime and the recent pandemic provided both the catalyst and opportunity.
“Although there is much talk about the demise of traditional retail, in contrast, we feel extremely confident about the future and are convinced that London’s West End will emerge stronger.
“In our new premises on Dover Street we will be better able to serve our existing customers, as well as establishing new ones. Location and accessibility are key in our industry.”

Sam Hug has joined Koopman.
Alongside the shop move Koopman recently hired Sam Hug from Sotheby’s to provide additional jewellery expertise. A designated space in the new gallery is dedicated to jewels and Hug will focus on this collection.
The London Silver Vaults landlord is refurbishing the ground floor entrance to the vaults as part of its redevelopment of the office building above and silver vaults tenants are currently signing new leases.
