Visitors to the inaugural Fresh Art Fair will be eligible for complementary valuations of their older art works. Though the fair features contemporary art, Bonhams representatives will be valuing works from the 20th century and before
Organisers encourage visitors to “refresh” their art collections, selling older pieces and replacing them with more recent ones.
New Fair
Fresh Art Fair features 45 galleries including Panter & Hall, Eames Fine Art and David Simon Contemporary. The event takes place a Cheltenham Racecourse and includes a live art demonstration by artist Paul Oz as well as a talk by sculptor Antonio Lopez Reche.
It was founded by Anthony Wardle, a marketing and advertising professional formerly of Saatchi & Saatchi. His daughter Eleanor Wardle, who owns Paragon Gallery in Cheltenham, is the co-founder.
The fair runs from May 12-14.
