At the day-long conference, titled Why Not This Way? students from various BAFRA-affiliated colleges will be encouraged to speak about their chosen piece of furniture and their experiences and points of view concerning the restoration/conservation process. Tours of the college workshops, viewing items of resident student furniture restoration/conservation work, will also be conducted in groups.
The day begins at 10am and is expected to finish between 4.30 and 5pm. The cost is £8 for non members.
BAFRA students’ annual conference
The student section of the British Antique Furniture Restorers’ Association will hold their annual conference at Oxford and Cherwell College, Oxpens Road, Oxford on March 14.
