Loch Achray, 1859, by Waller Hugh Paton (1828-95), oil on canvas, priced £55,000 at the Fine Art Society exhibition.
The show, from February 1 to March 16, brings together works of topography as well as images of daily life and culture including scenes of fishing, farming and religion.
Among the works are prints by Paul Sandby, a watercolour by David Allan and an oil by Julius Caesar Ibbetson.
It follows the online show 20th Century Printmaking, running until January 29.
