Sixteen players lined up and played the match in pairs in challenging weather. The close fought match ended in a draw and while FAGS retained the RoBerti Trophy as holders, the two organisations will share custody of the trophy for the next 12 months.
The match was the centrepiece of FAGS’ week-long tour to Yorkshire and East Lothian which also took in matches at Pannal in Harrogate, Kilspindie, Gullane and The Glen in North Berwick.
