Christmas card from 1960-69 sent to Danish milliner Aage Thaarup from the royal family, in a group lot sold for £1000 at Keys.

Three lots of cards were addressed to Aage Thaarup, the Danish milliner to Queen Elizabeth II and members of the royal family. They came contained in the original envelopes.

Two lots comprised 10 cards, one covering 1960-69 and the other 1970-79. They both sold online on the low estimate of £1000.

The other, seven Christmas cards for the period 1980-86 signed (autopen) and dated by the late queen Elizabeth II, mainly with photos of the Royal Family including a card for 1981 with photo of The Queen and Prince Philip with Charles and Diana, sold under estimate for £800.
