Japanese double gourd carp vase by Makuzu Kozan, estimate £2000-3000 at Ma San.
The 8in (20cm) vase decorated with crashing waves in underglaze blue and leaping carp and lilies in iron red, green and yellow enamels was acquired by Dr Robert Hutton Bembridge in London, c.1940, and comes by descent.
