"Not the Usual Unusual” is how Luke Shropshire of Praise the Hoard describes his stock some of which he will be loading up next month for the Henley Décor Fair which he describes as “great fun and with a great mix of dealers.” For collectors of fairground and carousel material this 1930s twin-seated roaring tiger from the Cox fairground family’s ‘Arc’ ride costs £1295. Starting with a trade-only morning on Thursday, April 13, the fair opens to the public from that afternoon right through to Sunday, April 16, and includes evening entertainment at the weekend.

The line-up of dealers is impressive with 180 pitches booked from some of the trade’s finest gathering up their stock for the event. Architectural pieces are a staple at this fair with In Situ, John Wiseman Architectural, Andy’s Yard Reclamation and Decorative Salvage in the frame.
