The 4in (10cm) high blown and acid etched piece dates from c.1880-90 and is decorated in Oriental style with a medallion featuring a Persian equestrian figure with arms outstretched set against an enamelled relief ground of gold and grisaille flowers and leaves.

It is signed to the base Emile Gallé Nancy, has an engraved thistle, the initials EG and the Cross of Lorraine.

The estimate is €1000-2000.
