We have already previewed the Boule-In’s week-long French summer fete in the Suffolk village of Bildeston, which runs from Saturday to Sunday, June 17-25, at the home of dealers Cathy and Peter Bullen (ATG No 2593).

Here are two more one-offs to entice buyers into the homes and gardens of dealers where antiques and vintage pieces are shown off in all their party best.

Home sweet home

Decoratives dealer Jo Roberts is well known to viewers of BBC1’s The Bidding Room as well as being an enthusiaatic buyer at IACF and other fairs.

She has also featured in this column a few times and she pops up again with news of a pop-up at her Warwickshire home on Friday and Saturday, July 14-15.

Roberts started these last December and it was such a success she held another in March.

“I’m offering textiles, decorative pieces and art, all set out in my study and workroom”, she says.

A 19th century book with 20 Chinese ink drawings, including this cat, will be for sale at S&T Decorative Antiques’ pop-up in London priced at £45.

Tamara Broido and Sam Hansard – aka S&T Decorative Antiques – have been running their home and garden pop-ups in both their north homes in Muswell Hill, north London, for five years.

They say: “We usually have around 80 dealers throughout the day and it offers a great combination – being in a lovely home, having a drink and socialising while making a decision around what to buy.”

S&T’s pop-up summer event is on Friday, July 8.
