They are part of the contingent of 70 eager exhibitors at Derwen Fairs’ antiques fair and vintage market which return to the venue outside Carmarthen after an absence of three years.

Good business

Michael and Emma Gorton trade as Chapellane Antiques at fairs all over the country with a spread that includes Antiques in Tents and the Henley Decor Fair as well as being regulars at B2B’s fairs and fleamarket at Malvern.

Among their Welsh stock at the upcoming event at the National Botanic Garden will be a selection of blankets and some early stick chairs priced from £800 to £6000.

Michael, who has been in the trade for 20 years said: “Business has been good and perhaps because we stand at a variety of locations that helps.

“Fairs and our Cotswolds showroom bring different elements to our business.”
