A large selection of antique silver features in the Phillips’ collection, including many English and Continental European as well as American pieces, and pictured here are two examples.

The 13in (33cm) English wooden handled coffee pot with rococo decoration shown above weighs 40oz gross, is marked for John Swift, London, 1765, and is engraved with a crest and a vacant cartouche to one side. It has an estimate of $1500-2500.

The 6in (15cm) high Continental parcel gilt silver covered beaker engraved with a medallion of Saint John the Baptist pictured below is catalogued as German or Hungarian and dated to the 17th/early 18th century.
