Ryder Richardson said: “It’s sad but we have had to drop Haggerston School in east London and the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield. Dulwich has always been our baby and even though she is 19 now we can’t imagine life without her.”

Dealing and restoring
Kit and Alex Le Feuvre of the Oddments Store are based in Hastings in East Sussex and this show will be their second time of standing at MidCentury Modern.
The couple, who worked in the art industry, moved back to England from New York in 2017 and started collecting and restoring chairs for themselves. Kit said: “Then we had more than we could live with and had also picked up the skills along the way to offer our services to others. Since 2020 we have been dealing and restoring across East Sussex and London.”
The couple source pieces from junk shops, fairs, friends and neighbours and have for sale at £650 on their site a fine 20th century Roorkhee campaign chair – originally designed in the 19th century by a British engineer based in Roorkhee in India.
A bundle of sticks and shredded canvas, this oak chair was found in a local junk shop and has been completely restored using parts of the original brass hardware.
