The creamware curd cheese mould offered for £465 by Appleby Antiques.
This creamware curd cheese mould dates to the 18th century. The three-tiered form is pierced with a pattern of circular holes to make repeating patterns.
Appleby Antiques, which offers this example for £465, says it has had similar examples marked Wedgwood, but this one does not bear a mark. It is among a series of curd cheese moulds on offer from the Portobello Road dealership.
The business also offers other items of porcelain, kitchenalia and collectables.
The piece has a hairline crack and is otherwise in good condition.
