Indian & Islamic works of art specialist Dr Leng Tan.
An expert in Indian miniatures and textiles, he first worked for Ray in 1997 at the Indian and Islamic department of Spink & Son. He then assisted Ray in establishing the 21 King Street gallery in 2001 and has been key to business since.
Colleague William Edwards said: “His expertise, writing and good humour will be sorely missed. Leng now plans to spend more time travelling and collecting textiles.”
