First, a formal event will not take place this winter. Instead the organisation says it will support the dealer members holding exhibitions and events during the December ‘classic art ‘season.
The LAW Symposium has been postponed for this year.
The organisation has also appointed a new director: Luce Garrigues. She takes the place of Amelia Higgins who decided not to return following her second maternity leave. She joined LAW full-time in 2017 and was made director the following year.
Garrigues was initially brought on as maternity cover in 2019 and fulfilled the role of director of London Art Week Digital, having successfully created LAW’s online platform during the pandemic. She stepped up to acting director in January 2020.
