Whiteleaf Hill by John Nash (1893-1977) is among the highlights of the British Art Fair that returns for its first in-person event since before the pandemic this year, running at Saatchi Gallery from September 29-October 2.

The First World War artist, younger brother of Paul Nash, completed the watercolour over pen and ink in 1920.

Modern British art specialist Harry Moore- Gwyn offers it for £45,000, describes it as a “particularly good early Nash and a perfect Chilterns subject”.
