1 How did you get your start?

In my teens, sourcing small works of art which I sold to the likes of Liberty and Ralph Lauren.

2 What events do you have coming up?

We are proud to be one of the newest members of The Cotswold Art & Antiques Dealers’ Association (CADA) and will be exhibiting at the stunning Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park, Warwickshire from October 13-16.

3 Have you noticed any collecting trends recently?

Perhaps fuelled as much by the post-pandemic ‘great move to the country’ as the terrifying state of our planet’s climate there’s an increasing appreciation of the integrity, quality and aesthetic of antique oak that has previously been the preserve of purist collectors.

4 What is one great discovery you’ve made?

I’ll risk sounding cheesy and say this has to be my wonderful wife and business partner, Carolyn. As this is all about the antiques though, I have a rare recent discovery to unveil at the CADA fair…

5 Real ale or espresso martini?

I don’t drink but the glass of real ale would better compliment a well patinated oak table top.
