This is the weekly Taunton Antiques Market which has been running for more than 30 years in Somerset’s county town, opening solely on Mondays.
It was all change from October 10 when Page and White took over, with Page saying: “There are currently 35 dealers there but in its heyday there were about 110 which is our long-term plan.
“We will soon be opening on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday as refurbishment progresses. We already have several dealers from our other centres interested in taking space there. We feel there is great potential for this centre.”
Tweet feat
Page launched the brand back in 2017 following a tweet from ATG about Antiques on High, a long-established centre in Oxford, being for sale, which Page saw. He then acquired it.
Centres in Sidmouth and Bowness-on-Windermere followed and after Taunton, there’s maybe a fifth in the offing.
