Although salmon trophies are fairly common, trout and sea trout are rare. This example, available in original condition for £2500, is from an assortment of fishing-related folk art on show at the Battersea gallery.
The display centres on a collection of early 20th century hand-drawn silhouettes of trophy fish caught with a fly in English chalk streams, and includes various carved trophy fish, ice fishing decoys and other fishing works.
The show runs from October 3-8 with a late opening on October 4, and the price range is £500-3500.
