Vintage poster specialist Kiki Werth is also exhibiting at the Ephemera Society fair where she will be bringing the lively Kliban Cats, designed in the 1980s by American cartoonist Bernard Kliban and priced at £40.
This will be an added and popular window into the past for visitors to the 40-plus dealer fair where prices run from £2 to £2000.
Society council member Malcolm Warrington said: “We have 50 new members which is another good year for a small society such as us. They include some 20 to 30-year-olds as well as students.”
Typewriter advertising ephemera is a thing and Ephemera Society winter fair exhibitor John Hall of Wayside Mews Collectables has two c.1902 Royal Bar-Lock typewriter tip-ins from The Typewriter Company Ltd in London, priced at £26, one illustrated.
Membership includes four issues of The Ephemerist, the society’s quarterly magazine.
