One of 300 copies illustrated with engraved plates by John Buckland- Wright and bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, it sold at £750.

Bid to £700 at the sale February 10 was one of 550 copies of the collection of early Welsh tales known as The Mabinogion. In a translation by Gwynn and Thomas Jones and featuring illustrations and other decorative elements by Dorothea Braby, this 1948 publication is in an S&S binding.
