The next newbie on the calendar is in Berkhamsted with the first of the Hertfordshire’s town’s antiques and vintage markets launched early this month, organised by Adam Game.
He said: “People came out in droves with the town full all day with buyers from dealers stalled out along Berkhamsted High Street selling decorative antiques, mid-century pottery and glass and lots more. Our next market on Sunday, August 7, has 40 dealers.”
He added: “We wanted to create a monthly event in this historic town for people looking to create interesting interiors with unusual pieces and for seekers of all things vintage.”
Marcel's next date
Organised for 25-plus years by Marcel Epstein, a descendant of the renowned Epstein furniture-making dynasty, Marcel Fairs’ next antiques and collectors’ fair at the Berkhamsted Sports Centre is on Sunday, July 31, with up to 100 stalls.
The organiser also holds fairs in Sarratt in Hertfordshire and Biggleswade in Bedfordshire.
