The next newbie on the calendar is in Berkhamsted with the first of the Hertfordshire’s town’s antiques and vintage markets launched early this month, organised by Adam Game.

He said: “People came out in droves with the town full all day with buyers from dealers stalled out along Berkhamsted High Street selling decorative antiques, mid-century pottery and glass and lots more. Our next market on Sunday, August 7, has 40 dealers.”

He added: “We wanted to create a monthly event in this historic town for people looking to create interesting interiors with unusual pieces and for seekers of all things vintage.”
