This gothic Scottish pitch pine cabinet bookcase dates to c.1860-80.
It features a gothic decorated carved and open pierced cornice to the front and sides with three sections each featuring a trio of adjustable shelves. There is more gothic piercing below and the gables are carved with thistles and linen fold designs. The base has one cupboard flanked by two openings with military style drawers.
The bookcase is available from Scottish dealership Georgian Antiques for £4500.
