The marble figure of Flora by Anton Werres, estimated at $10,000-15,000 at Bonhams Skinner.
The 3ft 8in (1.1m high) statue, inscribed Werres Roma, is believed to be one of only three known allegorical figures by Werres.
It was thought to have been lost and known only through photographs but research shows that it was once housed in Cologne’s botanical garden.
