This classic boatfest – “a celebration of all that’s best in British boatbuilding” – is organised by a committee of enthusiasts, co-chaired by Lady Judy McAlpine at Fawley Meadows, near Henley-on-Thames.
“Dealers in the antiques street do well”, she said. “It’s three days of a large and varied crowd and, of course, where there are expensive boats, there’s money to be spent.”
