The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea announced Summer Sundays at Portobello will run until August 7. With trading between 10am- 4pm Portobello will be car-free, temporarily extending the existing road closure during standard market operating hours.
The Sunday market stalls will include food, antiques, vintage clothing, home accessories and more.
The first Summer Sundays events took place last year. Also returning is New Youthquake: a special market on July 17 for newly starting-out traders aged 18-30.
Josh Rendell, the borough’s lead council member for local economy and employment, said: “As one of the top outdoor shopping and visitor destinations in the world, Portobello Market is especially bustling during the summer months so it’s a great opportunity to welcome people over the whole weekend.”
