1 What do you specialise in?

We deal in 18th, 19th and early 20th century British furniture and our stock is a reflection of the things we like to have in our own home. Among our best discoveries is a very simple, small Georgian walnut framed mirror that was hidden inside a chest of drawers - really simple but very exciting to find it!

2 What upcoming events do you have planned?

As well as selling online and from our premises in Upton Noble, Somerset, we host online and in-person events. The next online exhibition, Stories (on Instagram and via our website with an online catalogue) features our 18th and 19th century British furniture alongside Contemporary art that has been curated by art consultant Davina Barber. It runs from February 24-March 2.

3 What is one challenge that buyers are facing?

Delivery costs are rising.

4 One lesson you would pass on to a newcomer in the trade?

Trust your eye and don’t let others tell you what’s good or bad - if you like it, that’s all that matters.

5 What is one thing you couldn’t do without?

A tape measure.
