This charming 19th century hand-coloured lithograph with its imploring verse I give the all, I can no more/Tho poor the offering be/ My Heart and Lute are all the store that I can bring to thee comes from the private collection of Valentine’s cards owned by Malcolm Warrington, most of which he purchased at the fairs run by the Ephemera Society, of which he is a council member.
