To the reverse is a written description One bronze Goddess of Baskt in the form of a cat found at Bubastis on the Delta. Price PT1000 = £10.
Last sold at Christie’s in 2006, it comes for sale from the late David Miller, a Hertfordshire collector and numismatist.

A sale at The Canterbury Auction Galleries on February 5-6 includes a collection of 20th century furniture from the Broadstairs home of photographer the late Simon Cousins, among which are two pieces designed in partnership by Ringo Starr and Robin Cruikshank. Cousin’s father, James, an architect and award-winning industrial designer, was involved in their manufacture.
This Mastercraft Double Trilobi pedestal table fashioned in nickel plated steel and glass is signed and dated 5/4/74 to each pedestal. It is estimated at £500-700. The partnership between the Beatle and Cruikshank began in 1968 when the Cruickshank’s design company began working for Apple. The following year, Ringo moved house to Hampstead and Cruikshank was called in to help him realise some of the designs that Ringo and his then wife Maureen required for their new home.

This steering wheel is from a 1950s Boeing B-50 Superfortress bomber. A post- Second World War revision of the B-29, it was the last piston-engine bomber built by Boeing for the United States Air Force. This wheel was saved by a firefighter from the wreck of a B-50 which crashed just outside Dunton Patch near Fakenham in Norfolk in 1947.
It comes with pictures of the wreckage and is estimated at £1500-2500 at James & Son, Fakenham, on February 9.

‘The Atlantian’ was the lead ‘actor’ from an unrealised project based around a family living in Atlantis, with the power to teleport to Earth and help people in distress. With the show never making it into production (the script was ultimately abandoned in favour of the live action show UFO), the puppet remained in its case with Curtis, making a brief appearance on the BBC Antiques Roadshow around the turn of the millennium.

In 1859, the Rev Henry Moule of Fordington invented the first composting toilet. He disapproved of the water closet as he felt it polluted God’s rivers and seas and was a waste of nutrients which should be returned to the soil.
This 1873 patent was also ahead of its time. Dry earth or peat is put into the hopper at the back of the seat and deposited via a lever into a bucket placed below.

Modelled as a curled-up musk otter with cabochon garnet eyes, it opens to reveal a fitted gilt interior with four glass perfume bottles.
The inner rim is engraved for the retailer Jones, Bt. des Capucines, Paris. 41 St. James’s St. London. It was purchased by the vendor from Gerald Sattin Antiques.
