The festival of art and antiques last year had 30 members participating in the week-long programme of country-wide events, tours, talks and exhibitions.

As well as planning extra anti-money laundering training materials for its members, BADA says it will assist them in interpreting the Ivory Act when it comes into force. It will provide information on all business matters that affect the membership, including trading with other countries.

Meanwhile, The BADA Friends continues a year-round programme of antiques-related events, including talks on silversmith Paul de Lamerie and the extraordinary collections of the Rothschild Houses at the Vale of Aylesbury.

Excursions include visits to the Fabergé in London exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum and the medieval manor house at West Horsley Place in Surrey.
