The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association held its Christmas Party hosted by Maggs Bros in Bedford Square. ABA president Pom Harrington toasted the trade and the success of its Firsts: London’s Rare Book Fair earlier in the year to warm applause.
Down the road in Cecil Court, map dealer Tim Bryars at Bryars & Bryars and a group of dealers on the street hosted a carol concert party with Hesperos Chamber Choir led by musical director and antiquarian bookseller Charlie Warren of music bookshop Travis & Emery.
