Royal Dorset Yawl at the Needles by Charles Gregory is priced £7250 by John Mitchell Fine Paintings.
The show, which runs at the Mayfair gallery until December 16, features more than 30 marine paintings amassed by the late Stephen James, a keen yachtsman.
Between winning Royal Ocean Racing Club events and Round the Island Races (around the Isle of White), he built up an assortment of marine paintings dating from 1780-1950.
These are on offer at prices ranging from £2000-20,000.
From the proceeds of sales a charitable donation will be made to the Royal Yacht Squadron IoW Foundation.
