Nicholas Merchant, the new new northern regional ambassador for BADA Friends.
Merchant lives in Harrogate and runs Aspect Events. He is known for his work with the Arts Society where he is an accredited lecturer. He also works with various travel companies. He replaces Darrell Buttery, who died over the summer (Buttery’s art and antiques collection formed a white-glove auction at Tennants of Leyburn on November 11).
Merchant said: “I am greatly looking forward to taking on this honorary role and helping to expand the work of the BADA Friends and the BADA’s Cultural & Educational Trust in the north of the UK and beyond.”
