One of a pair of biblical scenes by Angelica Kauffman which will be offered together at Sworders with a £60,000-80,000 estimate.
Among the latter is a group of works by Angelica Kauffman (1741-1807) that has come to Sworders and will be offered as five lots on September 27. Their combined estimate is £220,000-300,000.

They were commissioned by George Bowles, one of the artist’s leading British patrons.
