Keeley Rosendale of Discover Vintage is launching a new biannual fair in the vibrant city of Leeds.

She said the aim is “to plug the gap for a vintage and textiles fair in the Yorkshire area where there has not been a fair of this kind for many years. It’s been much missed.”

Back in 2007 Sally Woodhead and Sam Tankard started up vintage fashion fairs both in the city’s Queen’s Hotel and Leeds Town Hall which they ran successfully for eight years.

Rosendale’s event will run at Pudsey Civic Hall on February 6 and October 22, 2022, and trader bookings have already opened with a positive start, she added.

She already organises vintage home shows at this location so a steady stream of crossover buyers seems likely.

“I aim to attract trade/costume buyers, collectors, stylists and fashionistas alike. Sustainable and circular fashion is high on the agenda now and there are very few fairs of this type in the UK”, said Rosendale.

Discover Vintage’s next vintage home show at Pudsey Civic Hall is on Sunday, November 14.
