This year‘s edition is the 47th and will run from October 21-24. It will be held for the first time at the Grand Palais Ephémère on the Champ-de- Mars (which has been designed to hold shows and events that normally take place at the Grand Palais) and at its extension, the Galerie Eiffel.

International line-up

More than 160 galleries from 25 countries will be participating, hailing from France and other European countries, the UK, North and South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. The exhibition list includes many of the best-known names in this field from round the world such as Gagosian, Pace, Hauser & Wirth and White Cube.

As well as those who are standing at the Champs de Mars, 50 galleries are exhibiting exclusively online via the fair’s online Viewing Rooms.

Along with the large general sector the fair will include sectors devoted to Young Galleries, Design and Editions.

FIAC is also known for its programme of cultural events. This includes notably FIAC hors les murs which presents sculpture and installations in public places throughout the city including at the Jardin des Tuileries, the Musée National Eugène Delacroix and the Place Vendôme.

This year, there is also a digitised programme of Conversations, which is accessible to all on FIAC’s online Viewing Rooms, where French and international institutions are invited to hold discussions on topics of current concern.

And for the 12th consecutive edition, FIAC will be staging Gallery Night, an annual rendezvous that allows some 100 participants to welcome the public for an evening visit to their galleries during the fair.

It takes place on October 21 running from 6-10pm and will include openings, encounters with artists, book signings, and art and design exhibitions.
