This c.1885 albumen print of a Solomon Islander, possibly taken by the New Zealand photographer Alfred Burton, is priced at £200 on the stand of vintage photography dealer Richard Meara at the Bloomsbury Photograph Fair.
Around a dozen dealers including Richard Meara, Roland Belgrave Vintage Photography and James Kerr will be setting out their evocative 19th and 20th century photographic prints priced from a few pounds into the hundreds at the Holiday Inn in Coram Street, central London.
Etc Fairs organiser Kim Jeffery said: “This is the first time since March last year we have held this photography fair along with our book fair.
“Our book fair is expected to be full with around 45 dealers including Shapero Rare Books and Alastor Rare Books.”
