The piece, featuring a bevelled glass top and glazed side panels with a cream silk lined interior, is priced at £2995 on the stand of Yorkshire dealer Mark Buckley at the annual Tatton Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair.

Run by Galloway Antiques Fairs, the event takes place over the weekend of October 8-10 in the Tenants’ Hall on the sprawling Tatton Park estate and welcomes some 30 dealers in all.

Other items for sale include a decorative cast-iron French garden urn priced at £695 from Malcolm Eglin Antiques, six ‘Barr’ pattern liqueur glasses by Lalique from Scarab Antiques and a c.1900 Emile Gallé Mures cameo glass vase decorated with branches of blackberry fruits, thorns and leaves from Solo Antiques.

Also joining the exhibitor list is Jo Bennett Originals with Contemporary art, JC Antiques with furniture, clocks specialist Lancaster House and Garret & Hurst with a selection of antique and contemporary bronze figures.
