Munn was presented his award for Jewellery in Culture & Heritage by novelist William Boyd. The ceremony, in the Livery Hall at Goldsmiths’ Hall in London on November 2, was set up to celebrate both the history and the future of the British jewellery industry.

Launched in 2016, the event is in aid of The Prince’s Trust, and was created by jewellers Solange Azagury-Partridge, Theo Fennell, Shaun Leane, Stephen Webster as well as Carol Woolton of British Vogue and industry veteran Susan Farmer. The event was supported by The Natural Diamond Council.

It is named for the leopard hallmark that has been used to mark gold and silver pieces produced in London since 1363.
