The site, a former airfield near Gainsborough in Lincolnshire, is also home to the renowned Hemswell Antique Centres, giving plenty of choice.
The new centre was previously The Water Tower Antiques & Collectables. “The opening was a great success, feedback from customers was really positive and we raised £1200 for the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice,” said Mills.
The family have been in the trade for more than 30 years and already own the Antiques & Trade Warehouse at the Hemswell complex.
Mills added: “We’re bringing retail and trade closer together, showcasing all aspects of the antiques trade, from antiques to retro and everything in between.”
The centre currently has 10 stands and cabinets with plenty of room for 50 dealers in the 10,000 sq ft space. The Mills family have ambitious longterm plans for a 40-seater bistro restaurant on site as well as opening up the 1930s-built concrete water tower to the public.
