Taking place over the weekend of June 25-27, MAW welcomes 40 local and international participants hosting exhibitions, pop-ups and artist studio days.
The Cyzer Gallery presents a select group of works on paper by Joan Miró (1893-1983) spanning 40 years of the artist’s career from 1931-70.
The show includes Trace sur la paroi I-VI, six large etchings from 1967 which are rarely seen as a complete set, and Zephyr Bird, a vibrant watercolour study made in 1956 for French art magazine Derrière le Miroir which is available to buy in the region of £900,000.
An exhibition dedicated to the collages of Peter Blake (b.1932) takes place at Waddington Custot and includes museum loans as well as selling works spanning seven decades and a few never-before-seen pieces.
Meanwhile, Robilant + Voena reunites pendant portraits of Napoleon and Josephine Bonaparte by Andrea Appiani (1754-1817) for the first time in 200 years.
